FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
NEW YORK, July 28, 2026. Ariventures has completed the Goldman Sachs Black in Business program, graduating with Cohort 9. Goldman Sachs selected the firm from a national applicant pool. The five-month business education program concluded with a ceremony at Goldman Sachs headquarters at 200 West Street in New York City, where Ariventures was among the businesses showcased. Founder and CEO Ariana McAuley represented the firm in the program.
About the Goldman Sachs Black in Business program
Black in Business is a national program under Goldman Sachs’ One Million Black Women initiative. The initiative commits $10 billion in investment capital and $100 million in philanthropic capital to narrow opportunity gaps for Black women. Goldman Sachs developed the curriculum in partnership with the NYU Stern School of Business and delivered it over more than 100 hours of coursework covering growth strategy, financial management, negotiations, and customer acquisition. Cohort 9 comprised 306 founders from 33 states and Washington, D.C. Member businesses average more than six years in operation, and fewer than 2,000 businesses nationwide have completed the program since its launch.
“Running a business means nobody pushes back on your numbers or your assumptions,” said McAuley. “This program did both, with Goldman Sachs and NYU Stern doing the pushing. Ariventures leaves sharper, and we leave with a national network of founders we intend to do business with.”
Joining the Black in Business alumni network
With graduation, Ariventures joins a Black in Business alumni community that generates $240 million in aggregate revenue and has created 4,200 jobs. Program alumni also do business with one another at notable rates: 35 percent of graduates transact with fellow alumni within six months of completing the program.
Ariventures enters the alumni network as it continues to expand its travel advisory and consulting practices alongside its sister organization, Ariventures Abroad.
